Study anywhere in the world
I teach online all over the world. You can study from the comfort of your own home or at your desk during the working day. I also teach offline and can come to your company premises in Helsinki Metropolitan Area.
Study one-on-one or in a small group
I teach both one-on-one and in small groups. There are usually 2 to 6 people in a small group which allows you to have more qualitative time during the lesson compared to studying in a larger group. For the group tuition prices please see here.
75 € per lesson
I charge by invoice. The course fee can be paid via Paypal or a bank transfer. If you live in Finland, you can also use the cultural benefit provided by your employer (Edenred, Eazybreak or alike). Remember to inquire whether your employer is willing to pay for your studies!
I am an experienced language instructor with a clear focus on teaching adults. I have been working as a language teacher since 2008. I hold a master's degree in English language and literature as well as a master's degree in Finnish language and culture from the University of Helsinki.
I reside in Finland now. Before settling in Finland I worked as a language instructor in Russia and Hungary. In addition to language teaching I have been the board member of Russian Teachers Association in Finland for 5 years and I have also co-authored Ponjatno! Russian language textbook series for Finnish high schools.
I am fluent in English, Finnish, Russian and Swedish.
“Tatiana is an excellent Russian tutor. Having learned languages for years Tatiana's approach to encouraging her students to listen to, speak and write in Russian from day one is second-to-none! Tatiana quickly grasped my Russian level and built on it using vocabulary I was familiar with, strengthening what I'd learnt in the process. A very strong recommendation!.”
